Privacy through decentralization.

Snapchain is an open-source project focused on data security and transparency. Engineered to provide users with total control over their digital footprint without compromising on performance.

Performance

Optimized core written in native code, ensuring minimal latency and extremely low resource consumption.

Privacy

No telemetry, no trackers. Your data never leaves your device without your explicit cryptographic consent.

Open Source

Every line of code is publicly available for audit, fostering trust and collective security through MIT licensing.

Manifesto

Communication should not require permission.

Every centralized system eventually becomes a point of control a place where access can be restricted, identities can be monitored, and messages can be silently filtered. History has shown that if a communication channel can be controlled, it will be.

Snapchain is built on a different assumption: that users should not depend on intermediaries to speak.

There are no central servers. No gatekeepers. No infrastructure that can decide who is allowed to connect and who is not. The application communicates directly with the network through public blockchain nodes, using open protocols that anyone can access, verify, or replicate.

This is not just an architectural choice, it is a refusal to introduce points of control.

By removing intermediaries, Snapchain eliminates the most common vectors of censorship and surveillance. There is no central authority to shut down, no account to suspend, no backend quietly shaping what users can or cannot see. Access to the network is permissionless by design.

If access to one node is restricted, another can be used. If public infrastructure becomes unreliable, users can run their own. The system does not depend on trust, it depends on availability and replication.

Snapchain does not ask for permission to operate. It connects. It transmits. It persists.

In a world where communication is increasingly mediated, monitored, and controlled, Direct-to-Node Communication restores a simple principle:

If two parties want to communicate, no third party should have the power to stop them.
